Begin your morning off at the giant caves situated at the top of the limestone cliff.
Located approximately 11 kilometres to the north of Kuala Lumpur, this popular attraction is best visited during the morning before the temperature gets too hot. The main caves, situated at the top of 272 stairs, hosts the site of a Hindu temple and several shrines inside the 100-metre-high ceiling. Its main attraction is the large Hindu God statue at the entrance. The caves also are home to many monkeys.
Batu Caves can be easily reached on the KTM Komuter train service from KL Sentral to Batu Caves.
Hidden in the streets of Kuala Lumpur is the Chinese inspired street that makes up Chinatown. Stop here to explore some of the colourful momentous temples that surround Chinatown. Sri Mahamariamman temple is the oldest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur, dating back to the 1800’s. Use your time here to dine on the famous street foods as well as to shop some bargains.
Return back to KL Sentral to access the National Museum of Malaysia. Enrich yourself in the major historical events of Kuala Lumpur and cultural activities. Feel free to wander over to Perdana Lake Gardens and Botanical Gardens, that borders the grounds of the National Museum.
Petronas Twin Towers
Finally end your day at the Petronas Twin Tower. Once the tallest buildings in the world, now the world’s tallest twin structures. The towers accommodate many attractions to suit all.
Begin your adventure at the Petrona Towers in the large shopping mall, Suria KLCC, located at the base of the towers and hosts both upmarket and popular franchises.
The towers also house the Petronas Art Gallery, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre as well as the KLCC park. The observation deck is located on the 86th level and boasts alluring views of the entire city.
