Andy is responsible for developing strategic direction for Flight Centre’s flagship corporate brand, FCM Travel Solutions (FCM).
Andy brings a range of experience and expertise to his role, a university graduate who focused on brand loyalty, he has been with Flight Centre (NZ) Ltd for ten years and has worked in leadership roles for FCM for the past seven years. During Andy’s time with FCM he has lead the Account Management team before moving into Operations and now ultimately General Manager, driving forwards the FCM strategic direction.
FCM has seen great growth in business, development of its people and services for customers. Andy has implemented market leading initiatives such as FCM’s intuitive multi audience customer survey, delivering complete accountability and visibility to customers. Passionate about the corporate business, Andy is proud to be part of a business that is making a difference for its people, and its clients. His key focus is to drive excellence across the business, making a real difference for FCM’s people and customers.
Anthony BodleAuckland Account Management Leader
Anthony started his travel career as a commercial pilot flying domestically within New Zealand before moving to travel management and has spent over twenty years in the industry. After a three year break to manage the commercial hospitality programme for Rugby World Cup 2011, Anthony moved to FCM and joined the Account Management team followed shortly after by a promotion into the role of Account Management Leader – Auckland with a seat on the FCM New Zealand Management Team. Anthony has experience in both national and multi-national client management and his industry tenure has enabled him to build powerful third party supplier relationships. He has a passion for the industry and getting the best possible deal is his key driver.
Jarrod PattersonCustomer Experience Leader
Jarrod has worked in travel for 9 years, starting as retail consultant and working his way up to a FCM Team Leader. During this time Jarrod worked on both key national and global customers and improving team productivity and systems.
In his current role as Customer Experience Leader, he is responsible for driving delivery and optimisation of FCM's fast evolving travel technology product suite; enriching the client implementation business, providing support and development of operations Team Leaders and improving productivity in the FCM business. Jarrod has a detailed focus on service delivery, to ensure customers are delighted with every interaction, across all service platforms.
Andrea KnightWellington and South Island Account Management Leader
Andrea joined FCM Travel in 2003 and has made the progression from Travel Manager to Team Leader to Account Manager in 2012. Andrea was promoted to Leader of Account Management for her Wellington based team of Account Managers and Analysts and more recently added the South Island to her remit also.
Andrea has a great depth of travel industry experience and knowledge which contributes to her success in working in partnership with her clients to achieve their travel management goals. She understands travel and works in partnership with her clients to identify opportunities for savings and process improvement.
Excellent communication is a hallmark of Andrea’s account management style. She takes the time to truly understand the main business drivers and key objectives of her clients, ensuring that objectives are clearly defined in our joint business plan. These goals are regularly measured and monitored to ensure targets are met.
Andrea’s focus on customer service is reflected in her awards for outstanding achievement as Top Travel Manager 2004, and Top Account Manager 2015.
Matt ParnellNational Sales Leader
Matt Parnell is National Sales Leader, FCM Travel Solutions NZ, leading new business in Enterprise, Multi-National Companies and New Zealand Government sectors.
Matt joined FCM in 2013 with over 15 years’ experience in the travel industry, with a strong corporate and Government background, Matt is passionate about customers realising their goals, transformational travel technologies and our people.
Prior to FCM, Matt served as business development with Air Malta raising their profile in the UK and Ireland; and Business Development/Account Manager at APX, successfully leading their All of Government (AoG) bid. Having working in front-line operations to senior management in travel, Matt is responsible for leading all aspects of our new business sales strategy and performance.
Nick BrownFinance Manager
Nick joined the FCM team in 2016 after three years of being with the wider Flight Centre Business. He initially wanted to start his career in IT as he graduated with a degree majoring in Information Management but then graduated again and moved more into the accounting world. He brings with him a decade of Accounting and Finance experience including getting his Chartered Accountancy whilst working in the public sector. He has a passion for the business, a strong business acumen, and quick to grasp anything numbers related.
Louisa Irving Senior Business Analyst
With over twenty years in organisational leadership roles and operations management, Louisa has extensive experience in both project management and strategic analysis.
Louisa’s knowledge of the travel industry is considerable and has involved a variety of roles including Travel Consultant with a succession of promotions to Ofﬁ ce Manager, Customer Services Manager, Key Account Manager, Operations Manager and General Manager.
During her successful career in travel Louisa has worked for key travel organisations including Century 21 Travel, American Express Travel, Gilpin Travel and as General Manager for Orbit Corporate Travel, with an average tenure of four to ten years in each role.
Louisa offers expertise in project management, systems integration, end to end process enhancements and data analysis. She is highly analytical, with a natural ability to build rapport and acquire an understanding of client’s requirements.
